Yes it’s that time of the year when prices go up...a lot. Admit it we have all been through a time when we wanted something special and when finally, after hours on end of looking for it, you find it, your first thought yay... 2 seconds later you see the price... your just going to have to do without it. This is unacceptable and we want to put an end to this heart-breaking, Christmas ruining feelings, here is a few simple and cheap DIYs to make your celebration a dream come true.
First up is one of my favorites the snowman garlands.
This is a chance for all your family to spend some quality time. Take a sheet of paper and cut it into strips as thick as you want we would recommend cutting through the middle. Fold the strip into 8 equal pieces. Then draw the snowman (you can draw anything you like; Santa, reindeer) make sure the drawings arms or feet are at the edge.
Cut carefully to reveal a beautiful paper chain that you can decorate with anything and hang up to make your house glitz and glam.
Now we have snowmen family there is no word fit to describe the simplicity of these homemade goods and are a great amusement to any younger accomplices.
All you have to do is make a batch of chocolate muffins make sure you always have extras in case anything goes wrong. You can take an even easier option and buy plain chocolate cupcakes from the nearest shop if you have time limits.
Fill your icing bag with freshly whipped cream and ice neatly.
Add a marshmallow and then refrigerate for about 10 -15 minutes. Take the cakes out and decorate the face with coloured icing you can make the nose with orange icing fondant or use some clever piping skills.
Now for the final DIY the hot chocolate snowman. Fill a little jar with chocolate powder then seal will lid fill another jar with little marshmallows, put a black circle bigger than the lid inside and seal. These are fabulous gifts however,
explaining how to make one is so difficult but if you look at the picture you will know how to make one without thinking twice they are so fun and easy to make.
I hope you have enjoyed these DIYs and made your Christmas the best !!
